Orangeside Community College is where people go when life takes a left turn.
Some are rebuilding.
Some are hiding.
Some are pretending this is temporary.
At the center of it all is Chase Wright — too smart for his own good, too proud to admit he’s lost, and just self-aware enough to know he might be the problem.
Over the course of the first twelve chapters, a study group forms out of sarcasm, rivalry, awkward silences, and unexpected loyalty. What starts as shared classes slowly becomes something harder to define — a chosen family stitched together by bad decisions, cultural clashes, overconfidence, and the occasional parking-lot fight.
The comedy is loud.
The arguments are real.
The growth sneaks up on you.
This is the beginning of a semester that none of them expected — and none of them will forget.
