Snakes
Birthday: February 29
Height: 6’2″
Aliases: Unknown
Age: Unknown
Role: Janitor. Prophet. The one who shouldn’t be there.
Location: Everywhere. Simultaneously.
Profile: Nobody hired Snakes. Nobody can fire him. Nobody knows his real name. He appears in the lobby of Michael & Cole with a mop and a bucket. He appears in Summers Brew with a rag and a grin. He appears in places he has no business being, at times that are either impossibly convenient or impossibly suspicious, and when you look for him five minutes later he’s gone.
Snake tattoos cover both forearms. One eye is blue. One eye is brown. His grin has a gap in it that makes everything he says look like a joke, even when it isn’t. Especially when it isn’t.
He doesn’t explain things. He draws them. Crude ink on napkins. A bee losing its wings to a line of ants. A spider watching a fire from a web. A wasp bringing flowers to a window. The drawings don’t make sense until they do, and by then it’s usually too late to do anything about what they warned you about.
He speaks in parables. He mops floors that are already clean. He knows things he shouldn’t know about people he’s never met. And the wet floor sign follows him everywhere, even into rooms with carpet.
Traits: Heterochromia. Snake tattoos. Gap-toothed grin. Communicates in napkin art and parables. Can play saxophone. The wet floor sign is always nearby.
Class Archetype: Oracle. Sees everything. Explains nothing. The floor is slippery even when it’s dry.
